• Lorenzo Tugnoli is a self-taught documentary photographer whose work focuses on Asia and the Middle East. He was born in 1979.
    Lorenzo approached the ‘discipline of the frame’ assisting experienced photographer, looking at images and looking introspectively.
    In 2008 Lorenzo attended an internship at Magnum in New York where he worked with Chien-Chi Chang and spent six months working as an assistant to Christopher Anderson.
    His work is been published by The New York Times, Newsweek, Time Magazine, The Guardian, L’Espresso, D Di Donna, Internazionale, Io Donna, Vanity Fair.
    Lorenzo Tugnoli is currently based in Kabul working on different projects around Afghanistan.
